For the past 14 years my friends and I have been celebrating what we call “Tolkien Month”. Every August, we dedicate the entire month to watching the movies(now all 6), listening to the music from the films, and reading as much of the books as we can fit into our schedules. We invite all of you to join and read or watch as you wish. In this episode Scott discusses why Tolkien Lore has become so popular and attractive to all ages. Tolkien used literary devices to portray internal, external and existential conflict. He created a world so rich and deep that you don't have to suspend disbelief. It is one of the deepest work of arts in the modern world today.
